The recruitment of 7'5 USC transfer Gabe Dynes has picked up steam, with some of the biggest names in college basketball now after him.

According to On3's Joe Tipton, among the schools to reach out to Dynes include Kentucky, Louisville, Xavier, Oklahoma, Washington, Ole Miss, Baylor, St. Mary’s, Tennessee, Arizona, Cincinnati, Florida State, NC State, Oklahoma and others.

Dynes played one season at USC, where he averaged three points and three rebounds per game, but it is on the defensive end where he makes the biggest impact. He had over a block per game in just 11 minutes played, and in the 2024-2025 season averaged 3.1 blocks per game in only 21 minutes played.

There simply aren't that many players at his size in college hoops, and expect him to remain one of the more coveted players available until he commits.
