Kentucky Makes Contact With Iowa Transfer CJ Frederick

CatsPause.com and @247sports have reported that the Kentucky Wildcats have reached out to former Iowa guard CJ Frederick.

While he averaged only 8.8 points per game this past season, Frederick’s shooting ability will make him a hot commodity in the portal. Frederick was the 2018 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year in helping lead Covington Catholic to the state title so it should not be a surprise that the Wildcats are interested.

Frederick made 86 of his 178 (46.6%) of his career long-range attempts in two years at Iowa.
