Kentucky picks up its first commitment of the portal cycle, as Tulane wing Kam Williams officially committed to the Wildcats.

The 6'8 forward is a high-upside play, after averaging 9.3 points on 41 percent three-point shooting as a freshman. His combination of skill and athleticism is already drawing the attention of NBA scouts.

Instead he'll head to Lexington where he should be an immediately ready plug and play four man. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining.
