Just one day after the University of Hartford made the controversial move to move to D3, the Hawks lost a star center of this year's NCAA Tournament team to the transfer portal. That player is Miroslav Stafl, a 6'10 forward from the Czech Republic.

Stafl averaged 10.3 points and 5.5 for a Hawks' team that made the school's first ever NCAA Tournament this season. But in a controversial move, the school voted on Thursday drop from DI to D3.
