Louisiana guard has heard from some of the best programs in the country

It's been a busy few days for Louisiana's Cedric Russell, since the All-Sun Belt first team guard entered the transfer portal.

According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Russell has heard from Marquette, Texas Tech, Arkansas, St. John’s, Oklahoma and Western Kentucky, among a handful of schools.

Russell averaged 17.2 points per game and shot 40 percent from beyond the three-point line last season. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining.
