Louisville lands a third high-profile portal grab

Louisville lands a third high-profile portal grab, as former Arkansas Razorback Karter Knox is headed to play for Pat Kelsey and the Cardinals.

A former McDonald's All-American, it was an up-and-down two years for Knox in Fayetteville. He averaged 8.3 points per game as a freshman and came on strong late with multiple big-time NCAA Tournament performances. That included 20 points vs. Texas Tech in the Sweet 16 and 16 in a Round of 32 win over St. John's.

He returned to Fayetteville this season for his sophomore year where he again averaged eight points per game, but was limited by injuries.

Still, Knox was perceived by many as a first round NBA talent coming into this year and will have a chance to prove it at Louisville. He joins Flory Bidunga (Kansas) and Jackson Shelstad (Oregon) as the Cardinals big grabs so far this spring.
