The 6'2 Guard from Lithonia, Georgia averaged 9.0 points and 2.9 assists per game, while shooting 25% from three as a Sophomore last season. Gaines was ranked as the #102 overall recruit and #13 combo guard in the Class of 2020 per 247Sports. Gaines becomes the 9th member of the LS program to enter the transfer portal this offseason, following the exit of Will Wade.
