Mac McClung makes major announcement

Mac McClung, arguably one of the two or three best players in the transfer portal has made an announcement about his future: He has withdrawn from the transfer portal, and says that if he does return to college basketball, it will be at Texas Tech.

McClung is still going through the NBA Draft process and could go pro, but if he returns, it will be in Lubbock, where he earned second team All-Big 12 honors this season after scoring 16 points per game.

Should he play college hoops next season, it'd be a huge boon for a Red Raiders program that has lost Micah Peavy (TCU) and Kyler Edwards (Houston) to transfer, with TJ Shannon also testing the NBA Draft waters.
