Theo John has played 124 games over four years and is second in Golden Eagle history with 191 blocks but he may not be done playing college basketball. With players allowed an extra year and with an influx of young talent that Shaka Smart is bringing in, John entered the transfer portal Wednesday to keep his options open.
John may try the overseas pro route or elect to transfer and play one final college season. John has battled injuries the last two years, including a wrist injury as a junior that required off-season surgery. This past year, he was limited in practice with a knee injury but managed to average 8.2 points and 5.2 rebounds.
