George Mason transfer Tyler Kolek became the third player to pledge to Shaka Smart and Marquette today. The 6-3 point guard averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists this season as a freshman for the Patriots. The Rhode Island native shot 38.5% from three-point land this past season.
Kolek joins Keeyan Itejere and David Joplin, who are headed to Marquette and the Big East. Itejere and Joplin had committed to Smart at Texas but will follow him to Marquette instead.
