It's been a banner off-season at Maryland where Mark Turgeon and his staff have added several key transfers. And just a few weeks after Fatts Russell (Rhode Island) and Qudus Wahab (Georgetown) committed, the Terps added a third piece on Tuesday.
That player is Ian Martinez, an athletic, 6'3 combo guard who played last season at Utah. The former Top 100 recruit couldn't really find his groove in Salt Lake City, averaging just 5.2 points per game, but should provide a solid piece off the bench for the Terps in 2021-2022.
