The Juwan Howard recruiting machine keeps rolling, as Michigan picked up a key transfer on Saturday afternoon. That is when guard Devante' Jones committed to the Wolverines, choosing them over offers from schools such as Texas, Texas Tech and Michigan.
This is another recruiting boon for Howard, who used a pair of transfers - guard Mike Smith and wing Chaundee Brown - to help spur the Wolverines' run to the Elite Eight a season ago. Jones averaged just over 19 points and 7.2 rebounds for Coastal Carolina, on his way to earning Sun Belt Player a season ago.
The Wolverines also signed the No. 1 recruiting class in high school basketball last season.
