Mid-major star Bryson Mozone is headed to this Big East school

It was a great Monday morning for one Big East school as mid-major star Bryson Mozone made his college decision. The 6'6 guard who played the last four years at USC-Upstate announced his commitment to Georgetown, in news first reported by On 3's Joe Tipton.

Put simply this is another solid portal grab for the Hoyas, who add a big guard who had a major year a season ago. Mozone averaged just under 16 points per game, all while shooting just under 39 percent from three - leading USC-Upstate in both categories.

He is the latest transfer portal addition this off-season via Patrick Ewing and his staff, who added five players from the portal in addition to Mozone: Akok Akok from UConn, Brandon Murray and Bradley Ezewiro from LSU, Jay Heath from Arizona State, and Amir Spears from Duquense.
