Minnesota adds third transfer of the off-season

After hitting on two other transfers (Liam Robbins from Drake and Brandon Johnson from Western Michigan), Minnesota added a third transfer on Monday. That is when Drew Peterson, a 6'8 forward from Rice chose to play the next few seasons of his college career at Minnesota, picking the Gophers over Creighton and Vanderbilt. The 6'8 Peterson averaged 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds last season. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
