Missouri snags an elite portal talent

Another star portal player is off the board, as Missouri has snagged a commitment from UT-Martin transfer Jacob Crews.

The news was first reported by On3's Joe Tipton.

Crews is a dynamic, 6'8 guard who averaged 19.1 points per game on 44 percent shooting from three. He also added over eight boards per game as well.

He heard from some of the biggest names in college hoops upon entering the portal, including Kansas, Gonzaga, UCLA and others - but will now take his talents to Columbia instead.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
