Morehead State star Johni Broome hears from two new college hoops powers

Just one day after entering the transfer portal, Morehead State star Johni Broome has heard from some of the biggest names in college hoops - and got two new suitors on Tuesday morning.

According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, both Memphis and Kentucky reached out to Broome on Tuesday. That is in addition to other schools who reached out on Monday, that include: Gonzaga, Ohio State, Auburn, Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Houston, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia Tech, Indiana and Arkansas, per Borzello.

Originally from Florida, Broome16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 55 from the field. He is one of the best available players in the portal.
