NC State lands major portal addition, in scorer with over 1400 career points

Arizona State Transfer DJ Horne, has committed to NC State. Horne will be coming close to home as a Raleigh, North Carolina native and should see a big role for the Wolfpack, with the departures of Terquavion Smith and Jarkell Joiner.

Horne averaged 12.5 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Sun Devils in 2023, shooting 35.5% from three. Horne played the first two seasons of his college career at Illinois State, where he was on the All Missouri Valley Freshman team in 2020. This will be his final season of eligibility.
