New Mexico picks up second commitment in as many days

Richard Pitino has things rolling at New Mexico, which has now picked up its second commitment in as many days. That's because just one day after receiving a pledge from 6'11, former Kansas Jayhawk Gethro Muscaldin, the Lobos have added former TCU guard Taryn Todd.

The 6'5 Todd recently completed his freshman year with the Horned Frogs, averaging 4.5 points and 1.5 assists in 17 minutes of play per game in the Big 12. Still, he should provide size and athleticism to a rapidly improving Lobos' roster, which also added Jamal Mashburn Jr. earlier this off-season.
