North Carolina adds a third impact transfer

North Carolina has added a third impact transfer on Thursday night, as former Notre Dame guard Cormac Ryan committed to the Tar Heels.

A veteran who began his career at Stanford before playing the last three years at Notre Dame, Ryan brings instant offense to the Tar Heels backcourt. He averaged 12.3 points per game this season, while shooting 34 percent from behind the arc.

He becomes the third instant impact transfer for the Tar Heels this off-season, joining Brown guard Paxson Wojcik and Louisville forward Jaelyn Withers, to add depth around the returnees.
