A slew of blue bloods and high major programs are in hot pursuit of one of the best players in the portal.
That player is former Northern Colorado guard Dalton Knecht, who has heard from the following schools: North Carolina, Oregon. Kansas, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, Grand Canyon, LSU, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington, Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona State, Ole Miss, Illinois, according to mid-major college hoops expert Sean Paul.
Knecht was a star for an otherwise forgettable Northern Colorado team, averaging 20.2 points on 38 percent three-point shooting this season.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
