North Carolina coach Hubert Davis struck in the transfer portal on Friday, as former Oklahoma forward Brady Manek announced that he will attend the University of North Carolina.
Manek was a multi-year starter with the Sooners but decided to use his extra year elsewhere this spring following the departure of former coach Lon Kruger. He averaged 10.8 points and five rebounds per game this past season for the Sooners, hitting 38 percent from three-point land.
His numbers were actually down this year from the 14.4 points per game he averaged in 2019-2020.
