One of college basketball's top sharp-shooters returns to the transfer portal

One of the best shooters in college basketball is officially leaving Texas Tech. That player is Kyler Edwards, a 6'4 guard who averaged 10.4 points per game this past season on over 41 percent shooting from behind the three-point arc.

Edwards initially entered the transfer portal shortly after Chris Beard left the school, although there was speculation that he may return after Beard's top assistant Mark Adams was given the Tech heading coaching job.

Instead, Edwards will stay in the portal and should be one of the most in-demand players in college hoops over the coming weeks.
