One of the best players remaining in the portal will announce his decision this weekend, as Rutgers center Cliff Omoruyi has told On3's Joe Tipton that he will make his announcement on Sunday.
According to Tipton, Omoruyi's final four schools are North Carolina, Alabama, Georgetown and Kansas State.
Put simply, Omoruyi was one of the best players to enter the portal all off-season as a bruising 6'10 center who spent four years in the Big Ten at Rutgers. This past season he averaged 10 points and eight boards to go along with nearly three blocks per game. He'd instantly put both Alabama and North Carolina on the list of national title favorites, and would also serve as a signature recruiting victory for both Georgetown and Kansas State.
Omoruyi has one year of eligibility remaining.
