One of the best pure scorers in the portal commits to Auburn

On Saturday Auburn added its first big transfer portal piece, as high-scoring former FIU guard Denver Jones committed to the Tigers.
Originally from the state of Alabama, Jones spent the last two years at FIU, where he was one of the most explosive guards in college hoops this season - averaging 20.1 points on over 37 percent three-point shooting. At 6'4 he should add much needed size and scoring boost to an Auburn backcourt which lacked consistency in 2022-2023.
