One of the best shooters in college basketball just hit the portal, as NC State's Paul McNeil will consider a transfer, in news first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

In his only season playing for Will Wade, McNeil became one of the elite snipers in the sport, averaging 13.8 ppg, while shooting 43 percent from behind the three-point arc on more than seven three-point attempts per game.

A 6'5 guard who was recruited to NC State by coach Kevin Keatts, McNeil tells Borzello that he will consider a return to NC State under new coach Justin Gainey.
