One of Tommy Lloyd’s First Recruits As Arizona Head Coach Will Be From Own Program

Arizona freshman Kerr Kriisa (yes he was named after Arizona stalwart and current Golden State Warrior head coach Steve Kerr) has entered the transfer portal, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

The 6-3 Estonia native averaged 5.5 points and 2.4 assists in eight games (five starts) for Arizona in 2020-21. He made only 14 field goals, but they all came from behind the three-point arc.

Krissa was the second Wildcat to enter the portal this week. Forward Daniel Batcho officially entered on Monday. A total of five Arizona players have left the program since the season ended. Jermerl Baker, Jr. transferred to Fresno State, while Ira Lee will play at George Washington and Terrell Brown, Jr. stayed within the Pac-12 ending up at Washington.
