Oral Roberts tourney hero Kevon Obanor is in the portal - already hearing from big time schools

We had another big name enter the transfer portal right before the midnight July 1st deadline, as Oral Roberts NCAA Tournament star Kevin OBanor is now in the portal. The news was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Obanor was a star of the Oral Robers team that made the Sweet 16 as a 15-seed this year, earning first-team All-Summit honors after averaging 18.7 points and 9.6 rebounds, while shooting 46.3 percent from 3-point range.

Stadium's Jeff Goodman is reporting that Obanor hopes to stay in the NBA Draft, but should he return to school he will have no shortage of options. Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Georgia, Penn State, Arizona, Notre Dame and North Carolina are among the schools who've already reached out to the 6'8 forward.
