John Harrar, a 6'10 forward who led Penn State in rebounding at 8.8 boards per game last season, has made a decision on where he'll play college hoops next year. He has decided to return to Happy Valley and play for new head coach Micah Shrewsberry.
The news was first reported by CBS's Jon Rothstein.
Harrar's decision marks what has to be considered a successful off-season for the new staff at Penn State. In addition to getting Harrar out of the portal, the Nittany Lions also convinced Izaiah Brockington and Seth Lundy - the team's second and third leading scorers respectively last season - to withdraw from the portal as well.
