Pittsburgh guard Ithiel Horton is now in the transfer portal

Ithiel Horton, a 6'3 guard who just finished his junior year at Pitt has decided to enter the transfer portal, in news first reported by 247 Sports Travis Branham.

Horton was a solid all-around contributor for the Panthers, averaging just under 10 points per game, while shooting nearly 37 percent from the field.

Horton's decision to leave continues a disturbing trend at Pitt, where many of their best players have entered the portal. Last year the Panthers lost Xavier Johnson (Indiana) and Au'Diese Toney (Arkansas), and the year before lost Trey McGowens (Nebraska).
