Providence can't stop picking up big-time portal grabs and it continued again on Tuesday night, as Florida Atlantic guard Devin Vanterpool committed to the Friars.

Vanterpool was deemed to be one of the best wing scorers in the portal, after averaging 15.8 points on 35 percent three-point shooting in 24 games this season. Ironically, his last game was a 26-point effort against South Florida, which at the time was coached by new Providence coach Bryan Hodgson.

Vanterpool becomes the latest spring pick-up for Providence, which has already added G-League star Dink Pate, San Diego State lockdown defender Miles Byrd and others to their roster.
