Purdue's Nojel Eastern will transfer to Big Ten rival

Just a few days after entering his name in the transfer portal, Purdue's Nojel Eastern has a new home. He announced that he will be transferring to the University of Michigan. Eastern averaged just 4.9 points per game for the Boilermakers last season, but was named First Team All-Big Ten defense. As things stand, Eastern is expected to have to sit this season and then will be eligible to play in 2021-2022, but is expected to pursue a waiver for immediate eligibility.
