Reigning Southland Conference Player of the Year is leaving Sam Houston State

Zach Nutall, the 6'3 junior who averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game this past season, has entered the transfer portal per his twitter page. In addition to winning conference player as a junior, the Texas native was also first team all-league as a sophomore. As the game continues to modernize and rely on three point scoring, Nutall's 37% three point percentage should help him garner interest from power 5 schools.
