Rhode Island star Fatts Russell has already heard from some of the best programs in college hoops

Less than 12 hours after entering the transfer portal, Rhode Island star Fatts Russell has already heard from some of the biggest names in college basketball. According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Oregon, Gonzaga, Michigan, Maryland, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Penn State and Arizona State have already reached out to Russell, a two-time All-A-10 guard at Rhode Island. Expect Russell to be one of the most coveted players in the portal this spring, 14.7 points per game and 4.5 assists this season. During the 2019-2020 campaign he averaged 18.8 points, while shooting 36 percent from three.
