Some big names have reached out to South Carolina star guard Meechie Johnson, as on Monday, On3's Joe Tipton reported that Kentucky, Arkansas, Ohio State and Texas A&M are among the first batch of schools to make contact.
Johnson is one of the best players in the portal, who averaged 14.1 points per game this season, as the leading scorer on South Carolina's NCAA Tournament team. Now he will transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
The 6'2 guard originally began his career at Ohio State.
