St. John's made its biggest portal addition yet under Rick Pitino on Monday, as Oregon State wing Glenn Taylor Jr. committed to the school.
Taylor Jr. was one of the few bright spots on a bad Beavers team, averaging 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists a season ago. He should add size to the St. John's backcourt next season.
He is one of several transfers to choose Pitino's new squad in recent weeks, a group that includes for UConn guard Nahiem Alleyne, former VMI sharpshooter Sean Conway and a handful of Pitino's former players at Iona.
