St. John's picks up first Transfer from the Power 6 and someone familiar with the Big East

UConn Transfer Nahiem Alleyne has committed to St. Johns per Joe Tipton of On3Sports. This will be the Johnnies first major addition from the portal, after loosing their entire team from last season outside of Joel Soriano, when Rick Pitino took over.

Alleyne has played a ton of College Basketball, with 129 career games played, has played in three NCAA Tournaments and won a National Championship this past season with UConn.

He averaged 5.2 points and 1.2 rebounds, in only 17.9 minutes per game, but should see a much more expanded role with St. John's.
