Stetson star Jalen Blackmon is now in the portal

Stetson star Jalen Blackmon, one of the nation's leading scorers, has announced he will transfer.

Blackmon became a household name after dropping 43 points in the Hatters A-Sun title game win over Austin Peay, all while averaging 21.3 points per game this season. That included shooting a blistering 38 percent from behind the three-point arc.

Blackmon will have one year of eligibility remaining.
