Texas Tech was one of the big winners last spring during the transfer portal, and they got off to a hot start on Saturday, with the commitment of former Gardner-Webb wing D'Maurian Williams.
The big 6'6 guard averaged 14.5 points and five rebounds per game this year, while also shooting over 39 percent from the three-point line.
He is the first commit for Texas Tech out of the portal this off-season.
