Jabri Abdur-Rahim announced on his Twitter feed that he is transferring from Virginia to Georgia. The son of NBA player Shareef Abdur-Rahim was ranked 38th in the Class of 2020. He spent an injury-riddled freshman season at Virginia seeing action in only eight games taking only 10 shots.
The versatile forward was a potent shooter in high school, where he averaged 31.5 points, five rebounds, and four assists as a senior at Blair Academy in New Jersey before being injured. Only top-pick Anthony Edwards was a higher-rated recruit in Tom Crean’s tenure at Georgia.
