Tulane picks up a pair of impact transfers

It was a busy Saturday morning in the portal for Tulane coach Ron Hunter, who picked up a pair of transfers according to Stadium's Jeff Goodman. Per Goodman, the Green Wave added former LSU guard Jalen Cook. Cook averaged just three points per game last year at LSU, was but was only a freshman and is a former Mr. Basketball winner.

The Green Wave have also added De'Von Baker, a 6'2 combo guard who averaged 13 points per game this season. That number is actually down from the 16 per game he averaged in 2020, but it's worth noting that Baker also shot nearly 45 percent from behind the three-point arc this season as well.
