Two high-profile Kansas transfers are on the road today, as CanesInsight is reporting that former Jayhawks Rylan Griffen and Rakease Passmore are both visiting Miami.
Griffen is certainly the more high-profile of the two, a 6'6 wing who actually began his career at Alabama and averaged 11 points per game on the Crimson TIde's Final Four team two seasons ago. Unfortunately his numbers fell off big-time this year in his one season in Lawrence, where he averaged just 6.3 points per game and saw his three-point shooting percentage drop to 33 percent.
Passmore is even more of a developmental project, who played his freshman year last year in Lawrence. He appeared in 23 games, averaging less than a point per game. However, the 6'5 guard is a former four-star recruit who chose the Jayhawks over Arkansas, LSU and several other SEC offers.
Should either commit they'll be joining a Miami squad which has already made a few splashes in the portal, landing former Michigan guard Tre Donaldson and Indiana big man Malik Reneau.
