UConn loses a second player in two days to the transfer portal, as guard Ahmad Nowell has decided to transfer. The new was first reported by ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

Nowell was a former high-four star Top 40 recruit in the class of 2024, but never really found a role with the Huskies in his one season. Injuries also limited his playing time as averaged just 1.5 points per game in seven games.

Despite the struggles, Nowell will still be highly coveted in this cycle and has three years of eligibility remaining. He joins forward Isaiah Abraham as the second Husky to hit the portal in the previous two days.
