UConn makes a major portal addition

UConn has made a major portal addition, as former Michigan center Tarris Reed Jr. announced he will play for the Huskies next season.

Reed was one of the best bigs in the portal this past season, after averaging nine points and seven rebounds per game for the Wolverines in the Big Ten. The 6'10 center also blocked 1.4 shots per game for the Wolverines.

Reed will now arrive at UConn hoping to replace some of the production of former Husky center Donovan Clingan.

Reed has two years of eligibility remaining.
