UConn's Alterique Gilbert is in the transfer portal

UConn guard Alterique Gilbert has put his name in the transfer portal, according to Stadium's Jeff Goodman. The 6'0 guard is a former McDonald's All-American, whose career has been ravaged by injuries. He has one season of eligibility remaining after averaging just under nine points per game this season. He averaged 12.6 points per game during the 2018-2019 campaign.
