Brandon Averette, who averaged 12.8 points per game at Utah Valley last season, has found a new home. He will play for his former Utah Valley coach Mark Pope at BYU. He becomes the second marquee transfer to choose the Cougars this off-season, following the path of former Purdue big man Matt Haarms. He is eligible right away.
