Wake Forest Lands Their First Major Addition, From Transfer Portal

Gonzaga Transfer Hunter Sallis has committed to Wake Forest. Sallis is a former Top 40 recruit who has spent each of the last two seasons on a Gonzaga team that made two deep runs in the NCAA Tournament. The 6'5" Guard from Omaha, Nebraska, averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds for Gonzaga this past season.


Wake Forest Head Coach Steve Forbes has done an outstanding job with Transfers since arriving in Winston Salem, with Alondes Williams winning ACC Player of the Year, Jake LaRavia becoming a First Round Pick in the NBA Draft, and Tyree Appleby being the ACC Player of the Year runner-up. Sallis will have two seasons of eligibity remaining.
