In one season in college basketball Wendell Green emerged as a mid-major star, earning All Ohio Valley honors at Eastern Kentucky, while leading all freshmen in college basketball in assists. And the picture of where he'll play next year is starting to take shape.
On Tuesday, Stock Riser's Jake Weingarten reported that Green will have a virtual meeting with Nebraska and Fred Hoiberg, in addition to a previous report from Weingarten that South Carolina, Auburn, Loyola Marymount, Washington State, Missouri, Mississippi State, and Maryland are other schools that involved.
The 5'11 guard averaged 15.8 points and five assists as a freshman with the Colonels last season.
