When Syracuse forward Quincy Guerrier decided to enter the transfer portal on Friday, it was no secret that he'd immediately sought after by some of the biggest names in college basketball. His first list of schools confirms that.
According to SNY's Adam Zagoria, here is the first batch of schools who've reached out: Alabama, Creighton, Marquette, Western Kentucky, Arizona State, Texas Tech and Georgia.
UPDATE: ESPN's Jeff Borzello has added a few schools to the list. In addition to the schools listed above, Guerrier has also heard from Oregon, Georgetown, LSU, Memphis, Maryland, Arkansas and SMU.
Guerrier is a 6'7 forward with NBA potential who finished second on Syracuse in scoring and first in rebounding, averaging 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. He is one of the best players remaining in the portal.
