West Virginia Makes Another Splash in the Portal, adding First Team All Big Sky Player

Montana State Transfer RaeQuan Battle has committed to West Virginia. Battle will join Kerr Kriisa (Arizona) and Jesse Edwards (Syracuse), as the third major Transfer Portal addiiton for the Mountaineers this offseason.

After starting his career at Washington, Battle had become a key member of a Montana State Team that won the Big Sky Conference Tournament and made the big dancer in each of the last two seasons. The 6'5" Guard from Tulalip, Washington averaged 17.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the Bobcats in 2023. This will be his final season of eligibility remaining.
