Xavier gets a big-time transfer from the mid-major ranks

Quincy Olivari has committed to Xavier from Rice. Olivari was a highly sought after transfer after leaving Rice, and Xavier won his services for next year. He averaged 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game last season for the Owls. He also is Rice's all-time leader in three-pointers made.

Sean Miller's completely revamped the way he coaches offense and Olivari is a perfect perimeter player for the way that offense runs now. Miller got a steal in the portal and Olivari should thrive for the Musketeers next season,.

He is Xavier's second big portal addition this off-season, with former Western Kentucky guard Dayvion McKnight committing as well.
